Brandi D. Rodriguez
– Paralegal & Office Manager
Brandi Rodriguez, is a native of Erie, Pennsylvania. Her academic journey led her to Slippery Rock University, where she pursued a BA in Criminal Justice, graduating in 2022. Her dedication at the University earned her recognition from the Criminology Department, leading her to receive the prestigious award of a Criminal Justice Challenge Coin.
Eager to apply her theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, Brandi began her legal career journey while still in college. Throughout her senior year, she immersed herself in the intricacies of the legal system as an intern at a prominent law office in Erie County. It was here that Brandi cultivated her passion for the law, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in both civil and criminal matters. Her time spent in the courtroom honed her advocacy skills and solidified her legal abilities.
Brandi assumed the responsibilities of office management and paralegal within our firm. She oversees the seamless operation of day-to-day tasks, ensuring that our firm functions efficiently and effectively. Despite her managerial responsibilities, Brandi remains deeply rooted in her legal background, actively contributing to the preparation of civil and criminal trials, providing invaluable insights and support to our legal team at Lighthouse Law, LLP.

Mark W. Grasinger
– Summer Associate & Juris Doctor Candidate, Expected May 2025
Mark is a law student at the Duquesne University School of Law and a summer associate at Lighthouse Law, LLP. He has focused his studies on will and estate preparation and civil litigation, particularly personal injury, contract, and insurance disputes. A native of Meadville, Pennsylvania, Mark intends to practice law in northwestern Pennsylvania once he completes his studies. Inspired by his grandfather’s litigation against his insurance company when it refused to pay what it owed, Mark is passionate about helping individuals and families obtain the compensation they deserve in all matters of civil disputes.
Mark graduated summa cum laude from Grove City College with a BA in Political Science in 2022. At Grove City College he was involved in the student government, worked as a research assistant for Dr. Paul Kengor, and worked as a teaching assistant for Dr. Caleb Verbois. He also served on the committee which reviewed allegations of student plagiarism and other academic misconduct. At Duquesne Law, Mark has obtained CALI awards in Advanced Legal Research and Writing, Contracts, Estates and Trusts, Constitutional Law, and Business Associations. He also serves as a Production Editor on the Duquesne Law Review and serves on the Executive Committee of the Duquesne chapter of the Federalist Society.
When not studying law, Mark enjoys spending time with his dogs and being active in his church.

Gregory J. Grasinger,
Esq. - Partner
Gregory is a partner at Lighthouse Law, LLP. He is a brilliant lawyer and a visionary entrepreneur. As a native of Erie, Pennsylvania, Gregory has spent majority of his legal career building a firm foundation in Erie County.
Gregory attended Duquesne University (2002-2006) where he was a double major in Biology and Health Sciences. Eager to pursue law, Gregory obtained a Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton, graduating with distinction from an accelerated program in 2011. His focus lies in various areas, including Will's, Estates, and Trusts. Gregory’s dedication to his profession and the firm’s success makes him a vital asset.

Abigail S. Groner,
Esq. – Partner
'Solicitor of Waterford Township Zoning Hearing Board'
Abigail is a partner at Lighthouse Law, LLP. She is a dedicated attorney who specializes in both family and criminal law. With her extensive knowledge and experience, Abigail helps clients navigate complex legal issues. Her passion for justice coupled with her compassionate approach makes her a trusted advocate for our clients. As an Erie Native, Abigail graduated high school from Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy and received her B.A. in English and a supplemental degree in Secondary Education from Mercyhurst University. She is currently on the Board of the Erie Irish Festival and a member of Athena Circle of Trust.
April of 2022, Abigail Groner joined the Erie County Public Defender’s Office with a concentration in State and County Revocations. In December of 2022, the Public Defender Association of Pennsylvania announced that they chose Abigail to receive the 2022 Rico Award for her exceptional advocacy.
Abigail graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in January of 2014 where she was on the Honor Counsel, a Law School Ambassador, and the President of the Volunteer Law Service Project. After graduation she clerked for two Common Pleas Judges, the Honorable Shad Connelly and the Honorable Joseph M. Walsh, III. She then became a Case Administrator in the Federal Court System for the Honorable Thomas P. Agresti.

Cara Covato, Esq.
-Associate Attorney
Cara is thrilled to return to her hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania, to practice law after spending several years in Southwest Florida for law school. She graduated from Gannon University in 2014 with a B.A. in Legal Studies and earned her Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida, in 2019.
While in law school, Cara was deeply involved in public service. She participated in the Human Trafficking Law Clinic and volunteered with Catholic Charities. Her dedication earned her the Pro Bono Service Award for completing over 400 hours of pro bono work.
Following graduation, Cara joined the Small Business Administration as a legal advisor, specializing in EIDL loans to support small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. She later served as an administrative appeals judge, where she adjudicated hundreds of labor law disputes.
Now back in Erie to be closer to her family, Cara has successfully taken the Pennsylvania Bar and is excited to join Lighthouse Law to serve her community.
